Flora House is an inner city mission operated by Winnipeg Inner City Missions of The Presbyterian Church in Canada Inc. (WICM). Flora House serves children, families and individuals in the North End.  Flora House is located near at Arlington Street and Selkirk Avenue. Flora House has served its community since 1967.

At Flora House, emphasis is placed on creating a safe place in the community, where the special needs of children and youth are nurtured and supported.

The North End of Winnipeg is a challenging environment for families trying to raise their children to stay out of the gangs and away from drugs, alcohol, sniff and gambling.  Stories of family violence, early childhood sexual abuse, bullying, parental neglect, and having witnessed or been victim to violent crime [guns, knives, and bats] are not unusual from the children and families we serve.
